CNN’s Chris Wallace chided Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel for his criticism of President Joe Biden’s “recess” period since his administration began in 2021.

Wallace, in an interview broadcast on Friday, asked the Republican National Assembly chairman if former President Donald Trump had a “win-win” strategy. Confirming his victory in the 2020 elections.

McDaniel, who once spoke about “crimes in the 2020 election,” zeroed in on issues of inflation before targeting how Biden spends some of his time away from the White House.

“Go grocery shopping — I don’t know if Joe Biden went grocery shopping because he spent 40% of his presidency on vacation,” McDaniel said, citing figures the CNC used to criticize the president for “rewarding himself earlier this year.”

Wallace hit back at McDaniel for his remarks as his cover quote is from the Ronald Reagan era.

“No president ever takes a vacation.” Wallace said before talking about one of Trump’s hobbies he’s taken part in hundreds of times as president.

“And you know…if we wanted to play golf, I think Donald Trump beat it.”

Trump has played on his estate at least 289 times. His tenure to the tune of “The Tab” cost him $151.5 million, according to a December 2020 HuffPost analysis.

McDaniel then asked Wallace if he thought Biden “should skip a vacation,” before the host walked back Trump’s argument about his loss in the 2020 election.

“Let me ask you this, Chris. Don’t you think maybe he should skip a vacation once in a while and say, How do I get this ship right? Not him. Maybe don’t go to the beach, Joe! Maybe…” McDaniel said.

Wallace replied, “I think that would be a much better response to Donald Trump than saying, ‘You won in 2020.’”
