Oppenheimer skips UK premiere to join SAG-AFTRA Strike

Some of the notable guests at the UK premiere of the film Oppenheimer Thursday July 13th was notably absent as the cast left the stage to join the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Director Christopher Nolan told the audience at the screening, “I have to acknowledge the amazing work of our cast led by Cillian Murphy.” “I’ve seen them here earlier on the red carpet. Unfortunately, they’re on their way to writing their sit-down references to the impending hit by SAG.”
