André 3000 has a new album on the way, if longtime OutKast affiliate Killer Mike is to be believed.
In a recent interview with Swing in the morningKiller Mike revealed that Andre filled him in with a bunch of new songs after he came to check out Mike’s latest album, Michaelwhile recording it. This led to Dre appearing in “Scientists and Engineers,” a family reunion from the cell that also features Future.
“He played like nine or 10 joints to us and said, ‘Okay, just pick what you want and do something with it,'” Mike recalled, adding that Andre had often turned down offers of collaboration “over the past decade” by saying, “I’m not interested in rap right now.” .”

Apparently, André was in a completely different place this time around and gave Mike two records, one of which is “Like 11 Minutes” and features a seven-minute verse from Three Stacks. André also helped make Future jump on “scientists and engineers,” turning it into “a real Dungeon family event,” as Mike puts it.
