A man has been arrested after breaking into an alligator enclosure in Florida

A man is accused of breaking into a Florida amusement park, jumping an alligator fence, and making a video for social media — a dangerous stunt that authorities say led to his arrest.

Tampa Bay police say 20-year-old Jacob Percivol jumped a fence to illegally enter Busch Gardens amusement park on June 1. .

Authorities say Purciful entered the compound while someone was taping him, according to a press release from the Tampa Police Department.

Onlookers can be seen in a video posted to social media showing Purciful inside the enclosure, with some yelling at her to get out and that it was dangerous to approach the reptile. Footage of the incident circulated on the Internet.

It is not clear if Pursifull has legal representation.

Authorities say he posted a video of the incident on social media. There is no video of the incident currently appearing on social media accounts that appear to be of Pursifull.

Tampa police say social media helped investigators identify and arrest Persevol.

According to the police statement and the Hillsborough County Jail website, he was taken into custody Monday on charges of theft of services, trespassing and burglary of an occupied building.

Pursifull was issued on an $8,500 bond Tuesday, according to the booking information.

It is unclear if the other two people who police say slipped into the park with Pursifol will face charges. The Tampa Police Department did not immediately respond to a request from CNN.
