Lil Wayne abruptly ended the final show of “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour” at Wiltern in Los Angeles on Saturday after accusing the crowd of disrespecting his fellow artists.
“We appreciate that, but we’re not about to bend over backwards to these guys. We work really hard for this shit. We work very hard,” Lil Wayne told the crowd.
Wayne’s concert got off to a rocky start after the rapper took the stage more than an hour after the scheduled start time. After playing for about 30 minutes, Weezy left the stage so that members of his Young Money label—including Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas—could perform.

Apparently sensing that the audience response to the performers was lackluster, Wayne quickly returns to the stage to announce that the show is over. “We work so hard for this shit, we work too hard for it. That’s my mother’s f*** at Artist Alan, that was Twist, that was Yag; we’re Young Money. We appreciate all of your time,” Wayne said.
