Belinda Carlisle calls in to speak with Kyle Meredith about her new EP, Kismetwhich followed her comeback collaboration with 1980s songwriting legend, Diane Warren.

The Go-Go co-founder discusses what it’s like to produce her first English-speaking album in over 20 years, the thread between her solo and Go-Go music, and the emergence of her classic voice on new work. Carlisle also tells of his desire to sing live with Dolly Parton, Cyndi Lauper, and Debbie Gibson.
Elsewhere, she remembers her 1993 album TRUE (which is celebrating its 30th anniversary) and any idea for another album inducts its Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
“I think there’s something to be said for stopping at the top and not going on for too long,” she explains. “We solidified the band’s legacy with Rock Hall, and where does it go from that?”
