Crazy Town vocalist Seth Binzer (aka Shifty Shellshock) was arrested for a DUI on Tuesday (April 25), two days after he got involved in a bloody fight with bandmate Bobby Reeves.

As previously reported, Binzer punched co-vocalist Reeves after a disastrous show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where Binzer failed to show up until the end of the gig. Video footage showed Benzer repeatedly punching Reeves while accusing him of stealing his money. Crazy Town was later released on the “Nu Metal Madness Tour 2” by the Hed PE leaderboard.

Now, TMZ reports that the 48-year-old Binzer was taken into custody in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday after police received a call about a drunk driver in a black SUV who appeared to have fallen asleep at the wheel. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Benzer at the wheel with obvious signs of weakness. He was given an advance sobriety test, which indicated that he was impaired while driving. He was then arrested and taken to the Myrtle Beach Jail.

Serious consequences Access to the police report, as prepared by Officer CJ Contino, which reads as follows:

On April 25, 2023, at approximately 1330 hours, I responded to 33d Ave N, Kings Kwy in reference to a possible drunk driver. A be on the lookout (BOLO) came from North Myrtle Beach about a black SUV, with California tag, traveling to the Myrtle Beach city limits, presumably all over the road failing to maintain its travel path.Shortly thereafter, the Myrtle Beach Event received a call about a black SUV, California-branded, in the 82nd Pky and Kings area. Hwy.The caller said the driver was falling asleep behind the wheel at a red light, and while driving, the car was having trouble staying in its lane.Officer McCain was the first to locate the car when the call came in.Officer McCain stated that he noticed the car driving and showing signs of The driver is struggling. I spoke to the offender as he was in the driver’s seat at the time of the traffic stop and there was no one else in the vehicle. The offender had severe lethargy and slurred speech. In view of the offender’s showing signs of weakness and Officer McCain’s observation, I asked the offender for a test Standard Field Sobriety (SFST). The offender stated that he would be tested. At the end of the test, there was enough visual evidence to indicate that the offender was damaged while driving. He was arrested for driving under the influence and transferred to the Myrtle Beach Jail.”

The description next to the accompanying mugshot (see above) describes Binzer’s blood alcohol level and status as “less than . 10, second offense.”

Binzer, who has publicly battled drug addiction on such TV shows as Celebrity Rehab And Sober homeHe was arrested last year in Los Angeles for a DUI. He was also arrested in 2012 for possession of battery and cocaine.
