Rob Zombie teams up with Waxwork Records to release classic horror movie soundtracks

Rob Zombie and Waxwork Records have joined forces to release an exclusive, curated collection of classic horror movie soundtracks.

The series is called Rob Zombie presentswill present several previously unreleased movie soundtracks personally selected by Zombie.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of movie soundtracks, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with Waxwork on this project,” Zombie said in a statement. “I can’t wait to release these albums. A lot of these are underrated and they all have such great music. So being able to release these fancy packages is a dream come true.”

The first audio clip to be released is the audio for white zombie. The 1932 film starring Bela Lugosi is considered the first zombie movie ever, and it inspired the name of Rob Zombie’s earlier band, White Zombie. According to a release, the film was “slammed by critics upon release” but has recently been re-rated and critically acclaimed for its classic horror production.

“It’s a great movie that not a lot of people know about,” said Zombie. “It amazes me that readily available film can be so wasted.”

This isn’t the first time Waxwork and Zombie have collaborated. Previously, they released the official soundtrack to the Rob Zombie movies House of 1000 corpsesAnd Satan refusesAnd 3 from hellAnd Salem mastersAnd Halloween 1And Halloween 2 And monsters.
