Bamboozle 2023 was canceled just a week before it was to take place after the host city of New Jersey, Atlantic City, refused final passes. Ticket holders must request a refund at the point of purchase.
According to a report by NJ.com, an Atlantic City spokesperson confirmed that the festival would not receive final permits after organizers failed to meet a deadline for submitting final documents.
“After extensive discussions, we have made the heartbreaking decision to cancel Bamboozle 2023,” the festival’s organizers shared in a statement on the official website. “An incredible amount of time, dedication, passion and hard work has been invested to make this comeback a success. We appreciate everyone who has supported this festival. Refunds must be requested at the point of purchase.”

Even before its cancellation, Bamboozle was plagued with issues, including fans asking for refunds after the festival failed to secure headliners, as well as complaints from people who bought tickets with early-bird prices that were higher than recent shows.
Scheduled for May 5th-May 7th at Badr Stadium in Atlantic City, Bamboozel was set to return after an 11-year absence with a lineup that includes Limp Bizkit, Rick Ross, Steve Aoki, Flyleaf, Papa Roach, and more. .
