Reign of Terror with James Corden as host Late Show Carpool Karaoke is coming to an end later this week, and has brought back good friend and former guest Adele to take him on one last outing. Watch replays below.
For the part, Adele pretended to wake Corden up by smashing a cymbal next to his head, then offered to get him to work for a change before joking about her inability to sing without closing her eyes: “I know if I crash, you’ll keep it in the damn adjustment.”
Then, they belted out hits including Adele’s monster hit “Rolling in the Deep,” her debut single “Hometown Glory,” Barbra Streisand’s “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” and “I Drink Wine” from her latest album and 30. In a heartbreaking moment, Adele revealed that the final song was inspired by a conversation they had with each other.

Corden also mentions the memorable editions of Carpool Karaoke with Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and Lady Gaga. Of course, Adele’s appearance in 2016 went viral after she sang Nicki Minaj’s rendition of Kanye West’s song “The Beast.”
The last episode of Late Show It will air Thursday, April 27, after a primetime special.
