Bob Dylan has announced that he will be releasing an album version of his iconic musical in 2021, Shadow kingdom. The record will be released on June 2 via Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings.
movie version of Shadow kingdom It premiered in July 2021 and featured a steady slate of songs from the first three decades of Dylan’s discography. Reimagined in a smoky pub noir (the fictional “Bon Bon Club”) and sung by an 80-year-old Dylan, the songs have a nostalgic warmth while still illuminating the modern context in which they were recorded, with mask-wearing band and all. Unpredictable, charming, and a musical delight, Dylan has been doing what he does best.
Joined by a stripped-down band from behind—including upright bass, accordion, and Big Thief’s Buck Meek on guitar—Dylan revisited songs like “When I Paint Your Masterpiece,” “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight,” “It’s Over Now, Baby Blue” and more.

Along with the album announcement, Dylan also shared a Shadow kingdom Translate “Watch the river flow”. A rousing, soulful arrangement featuring updated lyrics and a classic Dylanesque vocal performance, the song captures the show’s energy and Dylan’s enduring ability to take his listeners on a journey.
