Zhong Shanshan is the founder and chairman of Nongfu Spring, a bottled water company that listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in September 2020. Zhong Shanshan was born in Hangzhou, and left elementary school during the chaotic Cultural Revolution of China. He then worked as a construction worker, journalist and beverage sales agent before starting his own business. Zhong Shanshan also controls the Beijing Wantai biological pharmacy, which makes rapid diagnostic tests for infectious diseases, including covid-19.
