linkin park second album, Meteora, celebrates its 20th anniversary on Saturday (March 25). In honor of this momentous event, the band is preparing to release a deluxe 20th anniversary edition of their multi-platinum effort. Now, Linkin Park has released a previously unreleased second single from those sessions, “Fighting Myself”.
“Fighting Myself” follows “Lost,” which the group released in February. While “Lost” highlights the late Chester Bennington’s melodic vocals, “Fighting Myself” sees Mike Shinoda sing the verses and Bennington enters the chorus to call out, “I fight myself, I always lose.”
“Lost” recently went to #1 on the rock and alternative radio charts. Time will tell if Fighting Psycho sees the same trajectory.
