by admin

Greg Puciato, frontman for The Dillinger Escape Plan, has announced his first full solo North American tour.

Since the breakup of The Dillinger Escape Plan in 2017, Puciato has kept himself quite busy, releasing two solo albums, along with new LPs from his bands The Black Queen and Killer Be Killed. He has also toured extensively as part of Jerry Cantrell’s backing band.

The solo outing kicks off May 3 in Roseville, California, and runs through June 7 in Los Angeles. Live Nation pre-sale begins for select dates either Wednesday (March 22) or Thursday (March 23) at 10am local time via Ticketmaster using code Openswith a general sale starting on Friday.

Support on the trip will come from Escuela Grind (minus May 18-27), Deaf Club (featuring Justin Pearson from The Locust and Dead Cross), and Trace Amount.

“I’m going to take a big North American road trip with some friends, and book a few shows along the way to justify it to myself, and pay for the gas,” Puciato said in a press release. “I’d like to see as many of you as possible, fans old and new, and everyone in between. Let’s have some memorable nights together. This is my first time touring for records I’m starting to release under my own name in 2020, and the tour will likely be The only one under my name for the foreseeable future. Come down!”

Puciato released his first solo album, The Soldier Child: God’s Creatorin 2020, followed by his sophomore effort, mirror cellin the year 2022.
