A newly restored 4K version of Talking Heads’ flagship concert film, Stop thinking, in theaters later this year. As part of today’s announcement, Talking Heads frontman David Byrne retrieves his famously oversized gray suit from the dry cleaner in a newly shared trailer.
Stop fumbling 2023 It comes courtesy of A24, which has acquired the rights to the film worldwide and will be showing it in theaters later this year.
A new deluxe edition of the soundtrack will accompany the film, due out August 18 via Rhino Records. Available digitally with Dolby Atmos mixes from the complete concert and as a 2xLP set, the reissue was mixed by Jerry Harrison and E.T. Thorngren, and features liner notes from all four band members.
