In episode 8 of the show, which aired on March 5th, David is a Bible-preaching cannibal preacher played by Scott Shepherd. His villainy extends beyond cannibalism as he attempts to sexually assault Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey). Read our summary here.
Wilson, who follows the Baha’i faith, continued his tweet on Monday not with any evangelistic motives, but to advocate for religious equality within the industry. Also, I’m not a Christian. He said. “Of course it is true that the evangelical/political alliance is doing our country a great deal of harm. Banning books – banning liberties – denying disturbing science, taking a grotesque anti-LGBTQ+ platform…”
He continued, “Most of the Christians I know are kind, accepting, loving, and striving to make the world a better place. They should also be honored in the media.”
